Management and Staff

MGRC has its office at Moonnammood near Vattiyoorkavu in Trivandrum. It is managed by an Executive Committee elected every year by the General Body. The committee consists of 11 office bearers and 13 members.

Technical Support

Various governmental and non governmental agencies have been very cooperative and have extended their whole hearted support to the programmes of MGRC. A few such organizations are the Christofel Blinden Mission, Germany; Medical College, Trivandrum, Govt Eye Hospital, Trivandrum; Kerala State Handicapped Persons Welfare Corporation and Vocational Rehabilitation Centre (Govt of India), Trivandrum.

Financial Support

The financial support from well-wishers is the main source of income of the Centre. The centre needs more assistance to continue this good work.

Results

Mar Gregorios Rehabilitation Centre is working amongst the poorest of poor and is trying to bring succor to the most unfortunate sections of society. We consider this a God given responsibility to enable the disabled persons to change from living object of pity to productive, dignified and participating members of the community. So far, hundreds of helpless persons have receive assistance through our various programmes and many have started living with dignity. We are continuing to view the disabled persons not as a curse but as a persons with special abilities and as gifts from God.
